Chemical cleaning of the stainless-steel piping was carried out as part of the overhaul of Turbine Unit 6 at HPP Đerdap I.

The treatment was performed using a combination of flushing, alkaline degreasing, and acid cleaning methods, with the aim of removing dust, grease, oxides, residues from pipe fabrication and welding, and ultimately passivating the surface.
