Corrosion Inhibitor for hydrochloric acid solution

intended for use in the processes of acid cleaning of steel, copper and brass.

DESCRIPTION

NOVOHIB Cl by its composition is the organic inhibitor with the components for protection of the base material in the treatments with solutions of hydrochloric acid.

The product is applicable in solutions of hydrochloric acid at temperatures up to 60oC, at circulation speeds less than 2 m / s.

NOVOHIB Cl provides a weight loss of the basic material in the working conditions of less than 20 g / m2 what are the recommendations of a standard VGB R513 for high pressure steam boilers.

SCOPE OF USE

It is used for protection in chemical cleaning with hydrochloric acid:

Boilers
tubular heat exchangers in which the tube bundle is made of Fe, Cu or brass,
The remaining water system with materials Fe, Cu or brass,

In systems that are acid cleaned with HCl inhibited NOVOHIB Cl inhibitor must not be present:

Aluminium
Stainless steel
Zinc.

DOSING INSTRUCTIONS

The inhibitor is dosed as delivered.

Best results are obtained when the inhibitor is added to the water prior to dosing of the acid and it is necessary to ensure mixing (circulation) to balance the concentration.

The concentration of inhibitor ought to be maintained throughout the cleaning process.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

It is recommended to store indoors at 10 ¸ 30 ° C. Freezing and re-dissolution of the inhibitor does not affect its further use . The manufacturer guarantees the accuracy of the product within 12 months from the date of delivery.

ECOLOGY AND MEASURES

Take all necessary precautions when handling chemicals of poor acidic character. If concentrated matter gets into the eye, rinse with plenty of water.
